HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTO SHOOT?2021-01-05T00:53:01+00:00

Scheduling your residential real estate photo shoot is very easy. Simply fill out our online form, call us at 512.893.7451, or email us at sales@squarefootphotography.com.

HOW SOON CAN WE SCHEDULE?2021-01-05T00:55:34+00:00

We prefer to schedule our real estate photo shoots with at least 2 business days notice. If you have a more urgent need, call us at 512.893.7451.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL I RECEIVE?2021-01-05T00:56:06+00:00

We base this on the property. A small condo might only require 18 well framed images to encapsulate the space, but a larger home might require over 30 images to really get a sense of the home, space, and lifestyle. See our pricing page for more details.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIMEFRAME FOR PROCESSED IMAGES?2021-01-05T18:07:26+00:00

We work diligently to make sure we can deliver processed images the day after the photo shoot with the only exception to this being Saturday appointments. Any photos that are taken on a Saturday will be delivered Monday morning.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?2021-01-05T00:56:59+00:00

You will receive a link to download the photos as a .zip file. Be sure to uncompress the .zip file before viewing the photos.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE PHOTOGRAPHS?2021-01-05T00:57:34+00:00

Before the shoot, if you desire any specific angles, please don’t hesitate to let us know. If you are on-site during the process, our photographers would be more than happy to accommodate any specific angles you prefer. After the pictures are adjusted and corrected through our rigorous post process, our experienced team of editors will ensure that you receive the best images highlighting the property, as well as any angles that were requested.

WHAT FORMATS, IMAGE TYPES DO YOU PROVIDE?2021-01-05T00:57:46+00:00

Images are delivered in .jpg format, both high resolution and resized for MLS. Please let us know if you require a different format or size for your images.

DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE PROPERTY THE WHOLE TIME?2021-01-05T00:58:21+00:00

We are fully self sufficient and don’t require client attendance, but you are more than welcome to be involved in the process as much as you’d like.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO PREPARE MY PROPERTY?2021-01-05T00:58:36+00:00

Some recommendations for preparing the property include cleaning the entire home, hiding clutter, wires and trash cans, fluffing pillows, removing personal items and photos, removing cars from driveways, and opening umbrellas/staging the exterior. For a more detailed list, please contact our team and we will send you a prep checklist.

HOW LONG DOES THE PHOTO SHOOT TAKE?2021-01-05T00:58:46+00:00

The whole process should take less than an hour for any property less than 4,000 square feet. For larger properties please allow a little bit more time to cover everything.

DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SERVICES?2021-01-05T00:58:57+00:00

We understand that certain situations require immediate publishing. Do not hesitate to ask if we can schedule a last minute shoot and return images as soon as possible. We are prepared to go above and beyond to fulfill unexpected and surprise needs.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MUST CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE A SHOOT?2021-01-05T00:59:11+00:00

Please let us know as soon as possible if any scheduling conflicts arise. We understand last minute showings and appointments are unavoidable. With a 48hr lead time, re-scheduling should not be an issue. If you must cancel a shoot, within less than 24hrs, a small cancellation fee of $40 will have to be issued to compensate our photographer.

DO YOU HAVE A RAINY DAY CONTINGENCY?2021-01-05T00:59:51+00:00

While our photographers can shoot on cloudy days, we can not use equipment in the rain. If gray skies become an issue, our editing team has the ability to add a blue sky replacement to almost any exterior photo! However, if the weather conditions are extreme or become hazardous, we will reschedule at a time convenient for you.

HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?2021-01-05T01:00:36+00:00

Payment can be made online prior to the photo shoot or we can accept credit card over the phone by calling 512.893.7451.  We require residential customers to pay prior or at time of service.

HOW LONG DO YOU STORE MY IMAGES?2021-01-05T01:00:53+00:00

We guarantee we will keep your images on our server for at least six months, although we often keep them archived for longer.

We base this on the property. A small retail center may only require 20 well framed images to encapsulate the property, while a multi-tenant office building may require over 50 images to fully cover the building. See our pricing page for more details.

Our team is more than happy to travel outside of the city. Please contact us with specific details so that we can best accommodate your needs. Please note that travel appointments often require more lead time and are subject to a mileage fee of $1/mile outside of 25 miles from the city center.

  • All of our photographers are background checked, extensively trained and fully insured.

  • We will arrive on time to every appointment. If we are more than 30 minutes late, the photo shoot will be free.

  • We will deliver high quality images and re-edit or reshoot if you are not 100% satisfied.

  • We will respect and honor deal confidentiality for every photo shoot.
